Our Summer Recital
On June 15th and 16th we had our Summer Recital at the Living Arts Centre, and everyone there had so much fun!
We loved being able to see so many different instruments and performers, with 12 recital blocks booked there was only room for excitement and a passion for music!
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend, and we can’t wait for the next one!
CDI College Graduation Performance
We recently had a staff member of the CDI College reach out to us and ask for some of our students to perform at their graduation, and we were overjoyed with the results! Hannah, Xyrelle, Noor, Anna, and Dyuti all performed beautifully on their instruments.
Thank you to all of our wonderful performers and we hope to get more opportunities like this soon!
Queenston Drive P.S. Fun Fair!
On Monday June 17th we were invited to attend the Queenston Drive Fun Fair, and fun was definitely the word we’d use! Lots of food, prizes, happy faces, and even a talent show that our own students performed in!

Student of The Month
Bianka D
As the Summer draws nearer, a lot of students tend to take time to relax and lose focus on their practicing…but we love seeing students that take the extra time to improve their msuical skills! This month, we spoke to Geoff about one of his students that always comes to her lessons prepared: Bianka. Bianka is 11 years old and is very motivated and passionate.
We asked Bianka a few questions about herself, and this is what she told us:
What instruments do you play? Piano and Guitar
How long have you been taking lessons? A little bit over a year
What’s your favourite song to play? Golden Slippers and Hedwig’s Theme
What is your favourite book? Wings of Fire series
What are your favourite subjects in school? Math and Science
What is your favourite thing you’ve learned in class recently? My favourite thing I learned in guitar is Hammerons and in piano is learning how to play Hedwig’s Theme
We asked Bianka’s teacher Geoff about why he chose her, and this is what he told us:“Bianka always comes to class with a great attitude and a great smile. She is a very attentive listener and always demonstrates a good, steady progress. Who could ask for more in a student? Mike and I are both proud of her hard work and achievements.”
