Winter Recitals: A Celebration of Achievement, Passion, and Community
We are wrapping up another incredible year with our Winter Recitals—filled with unforgettable moments, inspiring performances, and proud milestones for our students and families. Over two weekends, more than 500 performers took the stage at the Living Arts Centre, showcasing their talents across a wide range of instruments and musical styles.
From piano and violin to voice, guitar, drums, and more, each performance reflected months of preparation, focus, and dedication. Our students demonstrated not only musical growth, but also confidence, discipline, and a true love for music. These performances were the result of consistent hard work and a shared passion—values that are at the heart of the culture we cultivate in our music community.
At Mississauga Fine Arts Academy, we believe in following your dreams while staying true to our core values: Dream. Believe. Play. Achieve. The Winter Recitals were a beautiful reflection of these principles in action.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to:
- Our teachers, for their passion, guidance, and unwavering dedication to every student
- Our admin team, for the countless hours of behind-the-scenes work that made these events run smoothly
- Our wonderful volunteers, whose support on recital days was invaluable
- Our parents and families, for your encouragement, trust, and continued support
We truly missed the students who were unable to perform at the Winter Recitals and are very much looking forward to seeing them shine at our Summer Recital in June.
If you weren’t able to attend the recitals in person, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Be sure to visit our YouTube channel to watch the performances. For those who took the stage, it’s a wonderful way to relive the momentum and enjoy those special moments all over again.
Please note that our recital videos feature only performers who have signed a media waiver. If you would like your child to be included in future recital videos, please be sure to sign the waiver and let us know you’d like your child featured at the next recital.

It’s the perfect time to share your love for music and introduce a friend to the welcoming, family-oriented MFAA community.
How to Participate
🎵 Bring a friend to your lesson, or pick up an invitation at the front desk.
🎵 Your friend can book one free lesson on any instrument (by appointment).
🎵 Both you and your friend will be entered into our BIG Quarterly Prize Draw!

Student's Corner - Zenith P.!
We are proud to celebrate Zenith P., who has been taking piano lessons at Mississauga Fine Arts Academy since 2021 under the guidance of Mr. Robert.
Over the years, Zenith has shown strong dedication, musical curiosity, and steady growth in his piano studies. In addition to piano, Zenith also plays the clarinet, and we are thrilled to share his recent major achievement: he has been accepted into the Peel Honour Band! This is a wonderful accomplishment that reflects his hard work, commitment, and passion for music.
We are incredibly proud of Zenith and excited to watch him continue growing not only as a musician but also as a person. We wish him all the very best in his musical journey and future endeavours. 🎶👏
Student of The Month
Congratulations to Gabriel R., our Student of the Month! Gabriel has been taking piano lessons at Mississauga Fine Arts Academy since July 2024, studying with Ms. Oksana. His dedication, steady progress, and love for music truly stand out.
Let’s hear what Ms. Oksana says about Gabriel’s progress:
“Gabriel is already working on his RCM Level 1 and shows so much talent. He is very musical, hardworking, and always follows instructions during class. He has recently been working on his improvisation skills and is doing a great job. Gabriel always comes to class with a kind and gentle attitude. He is a very pleasant student, and it is a pleasure to teach someone like him. He is growing as a pianist and has a great future ahead of him”. – Ms. Oksana

Many teachers are very popular and quickly become fully booked. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day, or time, don’t hesitate to contact us, and we can add you to the waiting list.
