These are free music lessons online in addition to the regularly scheduled classes. They are geared towards anyone who wants to connect with others through learning about music, learning a new instrument, singing, songwriting, and making music in general. The great value of master lessons is that they are taught by the highly experienced music-teachers from the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy. The professionals are talented musicians who provide an exceptional environment for learning about what they love the most, music. They work tirelessly to develop and host these online Masterclass Series for anyone who wants to learn music, at no cost. If you are already a music-student at the academy, these free lessons could help you further improve your instrument playing skills, nudge you to learn a new instrument, discover singing and songwriting, and even understand the many different ways and aspects of making music. If you are not already an active student, these music lessons provide an excellent opportunity for you to learn more. about the history of music, fundamentals of music, how music helps the body heal, learn to play an instrument, and voice lessons. For parents who may be considering sing-along classes for their young children, ages 4 to 8, should know that this sing-along experience includes many familiar and much-loved nursery rhymes. This free Masterclass Series has a limited number of participants per session and registration is now open to all current students. Our March 2021 student of the month is the amazing Jade! Jade takes piano lessons with Ms. Michelle. Here’s what Ms. Michelle has to say about Jade and all the progress she has made:
“My student of the month is JADE!!! She has been working so hard on her first RCM piano exam online… Which we all know how challenging that can be. She also has been my first student to do a Covid Piano Exam. She mastered these last few months like a true professional. Hats off to you Jade !!!! I give high respect to all my students for dedication to their online classes.“
We also asked Jade a few questions. Here are her answers:
Just a few little tidbits that have happened here and there. A little recap of all the amazing things that happened in March moving into April of 2021.
Here is a photo of Maxine with her school physics project. They had to make a musical instrument out of household items.
On the right is her regular ukulele, and on the left is the ukulele she made out of cardboard. It is functional — she demonstrated a C major scale and played Hakuna Matata for the project. Tuning the strings was the most difficult part of the project. She ended up using wingnuts, and the blue parts are plastic to keep the wingnuts and bridge from sliding inwards due to the string tension. She also used push-pins to block the wingnuts from turning.
She did an amazing job!
The warmest happy birthday to Mr. Mike. We hope you had a wonderful day and we look forward to eating cake with you very soon to celebrate. How’s a homemade cake sound by the way?
ANOTHER BIRTHDAY? Yes! Here is Mr. Geoff celebrating his birthday in style. Cheers and here is to many many more!
If you haven’t listened to Mr. Sam’s new song ” Driftin’ ” HERE, you absolutely must, like, now. What an amazing song, Mr. Sam We can’t wait to see what is next!

Be inspired and celebrate the new school year with music lessons at Mississauga Fine Arts Academy
What is the Musical Ladder Reward System?
At Mississauga Fine Arts Academy, we believe every student benefits from setting and achieving personalized goals. That’s why we use the Musical Ladder System—a unique, motivational program that celebrates students’ progress in music, just like karate belts or swimming levels.
With the Musical Ladder System, each student receives a customized learning plan, and every 3-6 months, they’re tested on their progress and knowledge. As they reach new milestones, we celebrate their achievements with fun rewards, including bracelets and trophies, to recognize their dedication and growth as musicians.
This approach keeps students motivated and inspired, making learning music an exciting journey.
Our goal is to help people in the best way possible. this is a basic principle in every case and cause for success. contact us today for a free consultation.
