Student of The Month
Every month at the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy we like to celebrate the successes of all of our students and feature one of them to show everyone. This month, we’d like to tell everyone all about the achievements of Fred! Fred is 11 years old and has been practicing diligently with his teacher Mike to expand his capabilities and well of knowledge.
We asked Fred a few questions about his time at the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy, and this is what he told us:
What instrument(s) do you play?: Guitar, electric and acoustic
How long have you been taking lessons?: 1.5 years
What’s your favourite song to play?: Back in Black by AC/DC!
What is your favourite food?: Double Cheeseburgers
What is your favourite thing you’ve learned in class recently?: How to play Thunderstruck correctly
What is your favourite colour?: Red
This is what Fred’s teacher Mike had to tell us about Fred and his awesome guitar skills:
“Since Fred has been taking lessons with me his understanding of music and skill on the guitar have skyrocketed. He is quick to grasp new concepts and practices dilligently, and is incredibly self motivated and self disciplined in his practice and learning. Fred is an inspirational student and an absolute joy to teach!”
Once again, a huge congratulations to Fred on his outstanding achievements and we look forward to
hearing him play at the upcoming Winter Recital!
