Student of The Month
Olivia
We asked teachers recently about which students of theirs have been doing a great job recently in class, and we’ve had so many positive responses! It makes everyone in the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy staff very proud to hear all the success stories of students at the academy, and we hope to feature many of these wonderful achievements in future newsletters.
This week, we want to talk all about Olivia! Olivia is almost 5 years old and has been working hard to make her teacher Stella proud. We asked Olivia a few questions about her time at the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy, and this is what she told us:
What instrument(s) do you play?: Piano
How long have you been taking lessons?: Half a year
What’s your favourite song to play?: Mary’s Rockin’ Pets
What is your favourite food?: Grapes
What is your favourite thing you’ve learned in class recently?: Doing puzzles in the waiting area
What is your favourite colour?: Pink
This is what Olivia’s teacher Stella had to tell us about Olivia’s hard work in class.
“Olivia joined the school this year in January, first time piano student at only four years old. She has really come out of her shell from being really shy to a happy energetic and confident student who practices well and is moving along in her book at a good pace. She has shown so much growth since she started!”
Once again, a huge congratulations to Oliva on her hard work on the piano, and we look forward to seeing you perform at the upcoming Winter Recital
