Grand Reopening Anniversary!
Two years ago on November 24th, our Academy had its very own grand reopening!
Over the past 2 years we’ve had so much fun getting to help so many students achieve their goals in music. Please come and celebrate with us on the week of the 24th with snacks, music, and fun and get entered into a draw for ONE MONTH of free lessons!
Thank you for continuing to support us at the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy, and we will continue to do our best to create the happiest environment possible.
Bring A Friend Draw Winner - Reyansh and Raynav J.
Our Bring a Friend week was a lot of fun, and we loved being able to meet your friends! We had so many new faces in to try different instruments… Piano, Guitar, Drums, even singing! We had so much fun with the event that we did another draw, and Reyansh and Raynav were the lucky winners! Congratulations Reyansh and Raynav, and we’re glad your classes are going well!

Student of The Month
Wendy Z
Each month we love hearing stories of our students and their successes. At the Academy, we always believe that no matter how big or small the achievement is that it should be celebrated. This month, we spoke with Ms. Oksana and she had a student to tell us all about that has had so many achievements recently! Wendy is turning 13 shortly and is constantly impressing us with her progress.
We asked Wendy a few questions about herself and this is what she told us:
What instruments do you play?: Piano
How long have you been taking lessons?: Three years
What’s your favourite song to play?: Für Elise
What is your favourite food?: Sushi
What is your favourite thing you’ve learned in class recently?: The songs and arpeggio techniques
What is your favourite colour?: Blue
We asked Oksana to tell us about Wendy, and she was so excited to answer! She told us all about how Wendy’s performance has rapidly improved since their time together and that Wendy is such a brilliant student.
She also told us about how Wendy recently did her Level 8 Theory exam and got a 92%! Oksana says that it’s a pleasure to be the teacher for such an outstanding student and looks forward to their lessons together every week.
Congratulations Wendy on all of your amazing successes and we look forward to seeing how well you do on your upcoming practical exam! Keep up the great work.

Halloween Costume Contest Winner - Chelsea P.!
This Halloween we were so happy to see all of the amazing costumes out there, and with a new record of over 50 submissions, our Halloween Costume Contest was a resounding success!
Congratulations to the winner of our contest Chelsea for her spooky Gothic Girl costume.
Thank you to everyone that participated, and we can’t wait to see what creative costumes will come out next year!
Referral Contest Winner - Marco R.!
Every day at the Academy we see new faces and get excited being able to see one’s love of music grow unconditionally. We love getting the opportunity to reward our students with different prizes as a way of saying thank you!
For our quarterly referral draw this time, Marco was lucky enough to win four tickets to Ripley’s Aquarium and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
Thank you Marco for telling Ranzel and all of your friends about our school, and we hope that you have a nice day out with your family– our treat!

Many teachers are fully booked. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact us and we can add you to the waiting list. There are still limited lesson spots available.
