Summer Recital Highlights
It’s been a few weeks since we had our first in-person Summer Recital after two years’ break! We could see many smiling faces, performers of all ages, and beautiful outfits. This year we recorded and captured a lot of great moments during the two days of non-stop shows with 12 recitals. Even though we couldn’t catch all of them, we decided to share what we have recorded and bring all these great moments to you again.
With great pleasure, we are happy to present our 2022 Summer Live recital videos on the Mississauga Fine Arts Academy YouTube channel. This is the first year we are presenting our live performances online, and we aim to make it a good tradition as we always work towards improvements and want the best experience possible for our students. Follow this LINK and enjoy our wonderful students’ performances. While we were not able to record every performance this year, we are looking forward to getting even more videos for the next performance.

Social Media Contest Winner - Constantin D
We were so happy after our Summer Recital to see so many wonderful pictures across social media. Thank you for sharing these great moments and spreading the word about us. A huge congratulations to Constantin D. for winning our raffle of a $25 Gift Card AND for a wonderful first performance on the big stage. Big thanks to all participants, and we can’t wait to see you in our winter recital!
Practice Champ - Karthik N
It’s so great to see our students practicing and growing both musically and personally. Practice is the key element to learning any musical instrument. Practice makes, if not perfect but a big difference. This program is designed to encourage and motivate students to practice. The more you practice, the better your instrument sound. As simple as that. More and more students are joining our Practice Challenge Program. A huge congratulation to our Practice Challenge winner Karthik N who showed great dedication and perseverance in learning guitar with his teacher Ms. Anjula.
It is a year-round program and is open to all ages and levels. To learn more about the Practice Challenge program, follow this LINK. We are excited to see your next step up in learning your musical instrument. Clime, your Musical Ladder, explore new heights and as Martha Graham said – “Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Student of The Month
Lillian Q
We are very excited to announce that our June/July 2022 student of the month is Lilian Q! Lilian has been taking piano classes with Mr. Jerry for almost four years and is doing a tremendous job. Here’s what Mr.Jerry has to say about Lilian’s wonderful achievements:
“Lilian always shows up to class with a good attitude. She’s eager to learn and improve and more than willing to put in the work for it. On top of that, she loves to ask questions and has a desire to explore the piano beyond the usual repertoire.”

What’s your favourite song to play? My favourite song to play is “Butterfly Lovers.”
